With the rapid movement of the legalization of marijuana in the United States, I just want to take a moment to express my feelings on the matter. First off, I don’t smoke weed, or else I’ll be like the extremely cool hookah-smoking caterpillar from Alice in Wonderland (and I mean the REAL one in the Lewis Carroll book, not the wimpy Disney version).
Although I don’t smoke weed, I have friends who do. If you notice, weed smokers are always mellow, easy-going, and down-to-earth. From all that I’ve seen so far, they are cool people that I like crossing paths with. I have a very great friend in Illinois, United States who I call “Precious.” I have known her for 15+ years. For as long as I’ve known her, she smokes cannabis and she has yet to emanate anything other than awesomeness.
I am fascinated by the science behind the cannabinoids, the terpenoids, and their disease-curing properties. Reading about the positive effects it has against PTSD, Anxiety, Cancer, Seizures, Neuropathy and other ailments, I’m very happy that there is a natural remedy should I end up with an ailment that impairs my well-being. Screw the pharmaceutical companies! Give me the weed!
Because I am an advocate for medical marijuana, I will be posting articles every once in a blue moon of the continued positive discoveries about cannabis. More voices need to tell about the plant that is mythically perceived as an addicting drug. Why can’t I be one of those voices, right?
Until Next Time…
